Job Description:

Technical backbone of the Commercial team, providing scientific authority and technical clarity to support sales relationships and close projects. A strategic unblocker and expert for client meetings, technical proposals, and mentoring the sales force.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical Sales Strategy (60%): Be the expert in client meetings
  • Design winning proposals
  • Define the scope of complex bids
  • Enable the Sales team with latest ecology updates
  • Bespoke Analysis & Expert Delivery (20%): Interpret standardized data and provide narrative
  • Author technical summaries for key accounts
  • Act as a billable expert for custom survey designs
  • Internal Liaison & Quality (20%): Feed market trends back to Ecology team
  • Ensure commercially-facing content is accurate

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Ecology (MSc/PhD preferred) with multiple years of experience in a client-centric, commercial role
  • Experience in species and habitat monitoring using multiple approaches such as visual observations, sensors, eDNA samples, remote sensing
  • Proficiency in interpreting ecological data
  • Knowledge of R or Python is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of TNFD, BNG, or CSRD
