Job Description

The Solutions Data Analyst will join the System Analyst department and will analyze, design and present solutions within the scope of an automated system. Additionally, the role ensures that all necessary group components are functioning properly and are in line with the company’s goals and customers’ needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Meet with potential and existing customers to evaluate their needs and understand their processes
  • Gather from the customer the Data (real or realistic) defining the project flows and throughputs (production rates and codes, shipments rates, distribution and codes, warehouse utilization…)
  • Perform a static analysis of the data to identify critical items in the project
  • Perform analysis of data to identify current system status
  • Develop simulation models to illustrate and validate the proposed solutions
  • Configure and customize existing simulation objects to be used in specific case study
  • Run simulation campaigns and analyze simulation results
  • Develop proposals by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
  • Generate documentation reporting the functional description of the project and the data analysis done
  • Collaborate with the system engineer to develop the bid package including material flows, functional descriptions, proposals, presentations and other material to effectively communicate the solution to the client

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or related field
  • Ability to identify and pursue synergies both within the work group and in interactions with various company departments.
  • Strong motivation to work toward goals in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Technical knowledge of the high-volume consumer products industry preferred
  • Knowledge in warehouse management and production plant logistics preferred
  • Proficiency with the following software packages preferred: AutoCad 2004 or newer or similar software
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Flexsim
  • Basic experience in writing SQL queries
  • Strong analytical, project management and communication skills (written and verbal)

Nice to have

  • Technical knowledge of the high-volume consumer products industry
  • Knowledge in warehouse management and production plant logistics
