As a Solution Architect at Vanta, you will play a pivotal role in securing the technical win and designing a solutions blueprint for our largest and most strategic global Enterprise prospects. Our team is dedicated to ensuring our Enterprise prospects can achieve seamless and successful implementations by validating their technical fit, identifying technical risks, and capitalizing on opportunities for custom technical solutions. We strive to provide exceptional technical guidance and support to unblock deals and drive revenue growth.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with Enterprise AEs and AMs to secure the technical win on Vanta’s most complex, strategic deals
Lead Discovery and Architecture Workshops to deep-dive into prospect tech stacks and identify technical blockers
Own and execute the Solution Validation (Managed Pilot) process to prove technical feasibility and eliminate risk
Provide expert guidance on Vanta’s platform and API capabilities, best practices, and integration strategies
Design comprehensive Technical Success Plans that map Vanta’s platform to complex customer architectures
Act as the ‘Voice of the CISO’ by consolidating strategic product gaps and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to influence product enhancements and address strategic feedback
Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience
3+ years in a pre-sales role as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role, preferably within the security or compliance industry supporting large Enterprise customers
Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle and RESTful API design concepts, with considerable experience in scripting against APIs or building API-based integrations
Strong technical background, with proficiency in security protocols, cloud infrastructure, and software integration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent project management skills and proven track record of successfully managing complex technical sales cycles, running Proof of Concepts (POCs), and driving technical validation
Understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and how to map technical solutions to business value
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have:
Experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) is a strong plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Azure Solution Architect Professional/Google Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET
