Are you an experienced SAP Solution Architect looking to lead a major enterprise transformation? ... We are seeking a highly skilled professional to guide the architectural integrity of our Modern ERP Program, focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. In this 13-month contract based in Brisbane, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions across SuccessFactors, S/4HANA Payroll, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), ensuring alignment with clean core principles and standard SAP functionality. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a large-scale program that will optimise processes and enhance service delivery.
Job Responsibility
Critically evaluate and reconcile HCM business requirements across SuccessFactors, S/4HANA Payroll, and EHS workstreams, resolving conflicts to drive fit-for-purpose solution decisions
Translate confirmed business requirements into validated solution designs, maintaining alignment with SAP standard functionality and clean core principles throughout the project
Act as the solution conduit between business stakeholders, analysts, and delivery teams, providing direction on process design, configuration scope, and functional gaps
Validate and challenge proposed solutions, configuration decisions, and customisations against program standards and SAP best practice to minimise technical debt
Produce key architectural deliverables such as solution designs, options papers, and position papers, and present them to governance boards for endorsement
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in SAP solution architecture or SAP HCM architecture, with a strong track record in S/4HANA and SAP RISE PCE topologies
In-depth knowledge of the SuccessFactors suite (Employee Central, Onboarding, Learning), S/4HANA Payroll, and SAP EHS modules across SaaS and cloud deployment models
Proven expertise with SAP Integration Suite, SuccessFactors Integration Centre, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), and middleware design patterns in hybrid landscapes
Demonstrated experience in HCM solution landscape design, system topology management, and managing interim state architectures during phased ERP deployments
Familiarity with SAP Activate and the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Framework, with the ability to document architecture artefacts across business, data, and integration viewpoints
