Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with business and technology teams to design end to end solutions that meet our needs for now and in the future
  • Translate business needs into clear, achievable technical designs
  • Ensure solutions align with our architecture principles, roadmaps and security standards
  • Provide technical leadership through the full delivery lifecycle
  • Help determine and challenge the cost implications of different solutions
  • Stay curious - spotting opportunities to innovate and improve

Requirements:

  • Experience in public cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and integration technologies
  • Experience in multi-million user systems, auto-scaling, database sharding, performance monitoring, and resilience patterns
  • Design and development experience in building performant, scalable applications using industry best practices, technology frameworks and tools
  • Experience with design and modelling tools
  • Proven experience in solution architecture across complex enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • The ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels
  • A collaborative approach
  • Understanding of architecture governance and standards
  • Relevant experience within the retail industry is an advantage
