The Solutions Architect (SA) ensures that HubSpot solutions are designed for scalability, integration, and long-term client success. This role bridges pre-sales and service delivery, providing technical authority to scope, validate, and guide HubSpot implementations. The SA collaborates closely with sales, consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure that projects are delivered with technical precision and aligned with client business requirements.
Job Responsibility
Participate in client discovery to uncover technical and business requirements
Scope and document proposed solutions, including high-level architecture and integration specifications
Build proof-of-concept demos or sandboxes to showcase feasibility
Review and approve solution designs, data models, workflows, and integrations before build
Provide technical oversight during execution and act as a resource for consultants and developers
Support QA and testing for complex integrations, ensuring alignment with design
Document repeatable design patterns and reusable integration approaches
Train and coach consultants on HubSpot technical capabilities and design best practices
Contribute to internal playbooks and standards for solution architecture
Requirements
Deep experience with HubSpot CRM and Hubs (Marketing, Sales, Service, Ops)
Strong understanding of data modeling, process automation, and reporting in HubSpot
Hands-on experience with HubSpot APIs, integrations, and middleware (Zapier, Make, Workato, Tray.io, AWS Lambda a plus)
Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture diagrams and scopes of work
Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
Skilled in balancing client-facing responsibilities with internal technical coaching
