Job Description:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's leading cloud computing platform, helping millions of customers—from startups to global enterprises—build and run applications without managing physical servers. Cloud computing allows organizations to access computing power, storage, and other technology services on-demand over the internet, making it faster and more cost-effective to innovate. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking motivated penultimate year students for our Solutions Architect Intern program starting December 2026. As an intern at AWS you will follow a structured training program that provides foundational knowledge in cloud computing, AWS services, and solutions architecture principles. You'll learn to understand customer requirements, design cloud solutions, and communicate technical recommendations effectively. Throughout the program, you'll be mentored by experienced Solutions Architects, participate in solution design discussions, and work on a real project building on AWS applying what you learn to hands-on experience with AWS services. This internship is ideal for students passionate about cloud technology who want to develop their consulting, communication, and solutions design skills in a supportive, education-first environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete a structured training curriculum to build cloud architecture foundations and AWS services knowledge.
  • Learn to analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical solution recommendations.
  • Participate in solution design sessions and shadow customer engagements with experienced Solutions Architects.
  • Work on a real AWS project, applying architecture principles and building with AWS services.
  • Develop presentation skills by learning to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Study the AWS Well-Architected Framework and learn to apply it to solution designs.

Requirements:

  • Currently in penultimate year of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, graduating in 2027.
  • Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of basic IT systems, software development, or system architecture concepts
  • Available to work full-time for 3 months starting December 2026.

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of Networking fundamentals including Security, Storage or Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows).
  • Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP).
