Job Description

Supports enterprise architecture activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions, including projects, products, systems, shared infrastructure services, and shared application services. Collaborates with team members on analysis and design tasks related to supporting the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Supports enterprise architecture activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions
  • Collaborates with team members on analysis and design tasks related to supporting the development of technology solutions
  • Provides support in the evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across specific business applications or technologies
  • Participates in the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
  • Contributes to deliverables such as standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs
  • Participates in the prototyping of new tools and techniques for the development and operation of solutions
  • Contributes to the published repository of technical architectures
  • Supports other architects in the development of specific technical, information and business standards
  • Helps to monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies
  • Maintains current knowledge of the University’s architecture roadmaps, technology status of peer institutions and technology market landscape
  • Helps to identify emerging opportunities that should be explored through research or discussion
  • Assists with research to understand business drivers and business capabilities
  • Provides support on a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences or equivalent and 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Experience in system development life cycle, business analysis, project management, systems integration, software development and/or the administration of service platforms, public/private cloud platforms, databases and networks preferred
  • Deep and broad technical skills for service design and delivery, including infrastructure and application components required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and facilitate discussions required
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills required
  • Ability to design and implement a project schedule and knowledge of project management required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment required

  • Willing to travel as needed to support sales efforts, client onsites, POVs, and AI Labs (typically up to ~25%, with some variability based on segment and deal mix)
  • Prior experience in a sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or comparable client-facing technical role, or a clearly demonstrated track record of operating at that level from an adjacent seat (e.g., advanced CS, litigation support, ediscovery practice lead)
  • Solid command of core ediscovery processes (EDRM, processing, review, productions, analytics) and developing fluency in standard law firm litigation workflows, with a working understanding of corporate legal workflows (legal holds, internal investigations, regulatory response, etc.) as a secondary coverage area
  • Excellent communicator: clear and structured in demos and presentations, able to engage technical buyers and end users productively, and increasingly able to tailor message to a specific audience's pain points and value drivers
  • Organized and process-oriented, comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities, POVs, and RFx workstreams without dropping details or losing momentum on long-cycle deals

  • Define success criteria with input from the AE and SA leadership, manage day-to-day evaluation logistics, lead user trainings, troubleshoot issues, and keep multiple stakeholders aligned to a clear plan and timeline
  • Contribute to RFP, RFI, and security questionnaire responses in partnership with our Proposals Specialist and Security & Trust teams
