Job Description:

The Solutions Architect - AI Services at NTT DATA is responsible for designing and managing complex infrastructure software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of licensing models, stakeholder communication, and multi-technology infrastructure. A bachelor's degree in information technology is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field. The position offers a hybrid working environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and managing complex infrastructure software solutions
  • Architecting client infrastructure, providing specialist multi-technology advice, and ensuring our clients' IT infrastructure software is optimized and compliant with licensing regulations
  • Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, designing and communicating high-level structures that support the development of integrated solutions meeting current and future business needs
  • Analysing client business requirements and ensuring the deployment and operation of infrastructure software
  • Creating detailed designs that provide holistic views yet contain the essential specifics of the components and their interconnections
  • Contributing to the improvement of our internal methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Researching emerging infrastructure technologies, focusing on software-defined infrastructure features and best practices
  • Supporting licensing aspects of service transition, including providing advice and quality reviews of renewal request proposals, and maintaining compliance with Software Asset Management and Software Licensing policies and standards
  • Managing and administering contracts for software and hardware services and features, executing commercial license proposals, and performing cost-benefit analyses
  • Maintaining solid relationships and guiding stakeholders on license management methods, processes, and best practices
  • Providing specialist advice on all aspects of infrastructure software and hardware features and related technology components
  • Supporting projects, facilitating license renewals, and proposing innovative improvements to drive the design of competitive service offers

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of Cisco Smart accounts and Smart licensing, with the ability to share and communicate ideas clearly
  • In-depth knowledge of a broad range of hardware, software, and configuration operating models
  • Proficiency in different licensing models, including Perpetual, right to Use, End-User, Subscription, and Enterprise Agreements
  • A strong understanding of relevant supply chain management methodologies and toolsets
  • Competence in multi-technology infrastructure software, technology features, and infrastructure solution design best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in digital infrastructure, key vendors' software features, technology capabilities, and licensing models of vendors like Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, and Palo Alto
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to focus and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to think strategically and tactically, offering comprehensive solutions that align with our service offerings
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the field
