Job Description:

As a Solution Specialist, you are focused on driving customers to adopt Microsoft Teams calling by applying your deep knowledge of our products and services combined with Microsoft's licensing and modern work portfolio. You articulate how technology can transform business, develop end-to-end technology solutions, communicate with influence, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and apply commercial acumen.

Job Responsibility:

  • Make a strong contribution to sales and revenue growth through developing and maintaining a strong qualified pipeline of incremental opportunities
  • Leverage expertise in technology solutions and sales to manage sales opportunities from identification and qualification to closing
  • Use strong technical knowledge of Microsoft licensing and solutions with Telstra’s UC offerings to identify and build qualified pipeline
  • Contribute to the development of proposals relating to the value proposition for customer offers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in solution requirements and assist in new customer solution development
  • Draw on knowledge gained via industry trends and competitive marketplace analysis to provide input into customer deals
  • Engage with stakeholders to participate in or support solution requirements
  • Provide guidance on the effective use of technology and solutions to achieve business outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in technology sales, preferably with Microsoft products
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) certified
  • Experience with Microsoft CSP Sales and MCI Programs
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams calling
  • Salesforce CRM
  • Microsoft Partner Center
  • Business case development and ROI modeling
  • Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
  • Experience aligning with Microsoft’s solution sales methodologies and MCI sales plays is a plus
