Join Ellucian as a Solution Specialist focusing on Transfer solutions, where you'll drive adoption and revenue growth by collaborating with executive stakeholders in higher education. This is a sales-focused role aligned to the Transfer product vertical, focused on expanding adoption of our transfer and credit mobility solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Drive adoption of Ellucian Transfer solutions
Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities
Lead solution-specific discovery
Shape deal strategy, buying vision, and competitive positioning
Serve as the subject-matter expert and value evangelist for transfer and credit mobility
Engage confidently with presidents, provosts, and senior administrators
Translate complex institutional needs into clear, outcome-driven narratives
Present use cases, success stories, and future-state visions
Collaborate with Product Management to share structured feedback from the field
Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, and solution-oriented responses
Work with pricing and strategy to develop and refine commercial approach for Transfer
Partner with Marketing on messaging refinement, vertical positioning, and competitive intelligence
Coordinate with Implementation, Services, and Customer Success
Build deep knowledge of assigned solutions
Stay current on higher education trends, regulatory considerations, and market forces
Develop and share competitive insights
Requirements:
Proven experience in a sales, sales specialist, or solution-focused role
Significant experience within the higher ed ecosystem, having worked for a higher ed technology company or for an institution directly
Knowledge of the trends and issues within Transfer and credit mobility
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior institutional stakeholders
Deep consultative selling skills with a demonstrated ability to lead discovery and shape buying decisions
Ability to communicate complex solutions through business outcomes rather than technical detail
Experience working in a matrixed environment alongside AEs, Product, Marketing, and Services
