Job Description

Cybersecurity is no longer a technical function—it is a board-level risk and governance priority. Our security practice focuses on helping organisations reduce cyber risk, meet regulatory obligations, and enable transformation securely, using managed services, platform-based security solutions, and outcome-led operating models. We are hiring a Solution Sales Principal – Cyber Security to lead Vodafone Ireland’s engagement with senior security and executive stakeholders. This is a pure cybersecurity role, focused on value-based security outcomes, not product selling. You will work with CISOs, boards of directors, audit committees, and senior executives, particularly across public sector and regulated industries, to shape cyber strategies aligned to business risk, compliance, and resilience. The role is comparable in seniority and impact to Enterprise Account Executives and Security Sales Specialists at leading cybersecurity vendors, but with the added depth of Vodafone’s managed services and critical-infrastructure footprint.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead strategic cybersecurity conversations with CISOs, CEOs, CIOs, risk officers, and boards, translating technical cyber risk into business, operational, and regulatory impact
  • Support customers in developing board-ready cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and investment cases
  • Position cybersecurity as a business enabler and governance function, not a technology add-on
  • Drive new and expansion revenue across Vodafone Ireland’s cybersecurity portfolio, with a focus on: Managed security services, Threat detection and response, Cloud and identity security, Security operations, governance, and lifecycle services
  • Own complex, multi-stakeholder security opportunities from qualification through to close
  • Lead value-based selling motions aligned to risk reduction, regulatory compliance, resilience, and insurability outcomes.

Requirements

  • Senior experience in enterprise cybersecurity sales, security advisory, or security-focused pre-sales, ideally working to CISO and executive audiences
  • Demonstrated success in value-based security selling, focused on outcomes such as risk reduction, compliance, and resilience
  • Strong understanding of: Modern cyber threat landscapes, Security operations and managed services models, Cyber governance, risk, and compliance
  • Proven ability to navigate complex buying centres, including boards, audit committees, and public-sector executives.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing customers through Regulatory & Governance Advisory (NIS2)
  • Experience managing customers Cybersecurity in M&A and Organisational Change
  • Experience in public sector, critical national infrastructure, or regulated environments.

What we offer

  • Competitive Salary
  • Flexible working (times and location)
  • Generous Employer Pension contribution
  • Free Phone Bill
  • Mobile phone purchasing discounts
  • Learning and Development
  • Vodafone University
  • Exclusive Family and Friends Discounts
  • 23 days annual leave and 3 charity days off
  • Dedicated day off for your birthday
  • Access to our Wellness centre including free access to our Gym, health and wellness centre and external practitioners
