Job Responsibility:
Builds awareness of need for product strategy based on customer feedback and compete strategies
Delivers Microsoft standard messaging and seeks to tailor messaging to audience
Starts learning path, consumes and leverages readiness materials to expand domain knowledge, and begins connecting with customers
Promotes readiness to internal teams
Participates in tech community sessions, hackathons, etc
Builds awareness of partners
Engages with and reaches out to customers with coaching from others
Shadows others in customer stakeholder interactions and researches customer context to gain understanding and build product expertise
Contributes to technical wins or portions of technical wins with support from peers through preparation and delivery of one-way presentations
Improves customer interactions through feedback and observation
Begins to develop awareness of available resources by familiarizing themselves with the community and engaging others to gain product knowledge
Develops foundational awareness of working with reference architectures
Assists in demonstrations of specific Microsoft products through preparation and execution
Leverages senior colleagues to ensure quality
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship
Technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience is a plus
Passion for technology and working with customers
Strong balance of both business and technical skills
Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills
