Job Description

As a Solution Engineer – Japanese in our Bangkok office, you’ll work closely with the business counterparts in Sales and Account Management to drive success for Taboola’s worldwide advertisers. You are responsible for proactively onboarding new Advertisers, monitoring delivery and performance across a book of business and can be tapped for client meetings/engagements with their counterparts to consult on in-depth technical recommendations, best practices and optimization strategies. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact to address any technical issue/concern within their book of business.

Job Responsibility

  • Technical onboarding for new advertisers
  • Owning responsibility for the End2End technical onboarding process , Taboola pixel implementation , conversion tracking , performance and health analysis
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of how Taboola advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives
  • Owning and implementing executional tasks associated with setup and delivery, and providing consultation to the business and customer on best practices
  • Perform technical troubleshooting to identify and proactively solve onboarding related issues
  • Driving performance for top advertisers
  • Performing detailed End2End campaign performance analysis and providing optimization recommendations to increase revenue
  • Proactively overseeing and managing campaign level performance, advising on delivery and KPI attainment
  • Surfacing verticalized best practices, insights, trends and benchmarks to aid performance
  • Design methodologies and tools to improve the customer service and the team’s troubleshooting ability
  • Domain owner in ad ad serving platform/tools , continually optimize the platform usage and provide up to date best practices
  • Collaborate with the business teams and work directly with external customers’ product and technical teams to successfully integrate with Taboola’s products

Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese is a must
  • B.Tech / B.E / BSC IT graduates with at least 3 years of Experience as technical solutions or support roles, preferably in the ad tech industry with hands on experience
  • Working experience with SQL, Google Analytics, JavaScript, CSS/HTML, APIs and Mobile SDKs
  • Experience with the ecosystem of ad networks, DSPs, audience targeting and technology, online measurement, ad operations and ad buying
  • Firm grasp of digital media industry , ad serving technologies, platforms and tools
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, and/or clients
  • Ability to optimize campaigns for complex clients focused on performance goals
  • Ability to demonstrate measurable impact of campaign strategy and to deliver customer-focused results
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling
  • Knowledge of business processes, workflows, and ability to provide structured formal documentation
  • Strong customer service skills
  • ability to translate technical investigations and analysis into actions for customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to build effective relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, understand urgency and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to understand business objectives and partner with them to achieve key results

Nice to have

  • Experience in tracking implementation methods (Shopify, WordPress, DCM, etc.)
  • Experience in product implementation, specially experience with pixel implementation on customers’ websites S2S and cookies
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager as well as mobile measurement partners (Appsflyer, Adjust, Kochava, Branch, etc.)
  • Familiarity with attribution models, testing frameworks, and privacy regulations
