Job Description:

The Solution Designer in the Digital team collects requirements, assists clients in defining functional specifications for proposed services and systems and transforms them into technical specifications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collects requirements, assists clients in defining functional specifications for proposed services and systems and transforms them into technical specifications
  • Participate in the evaluation, design and implementation of projects and is responsible for providing the technical solution for the IT systems in his / her responsibility based on the business needs of the clients
  • assesses the impact of implementing software changes in current IT systems, thinks and implements appropriate technical solutions
  • Create technical documentation (articles + sequence diagrams) for new / existing solutions or for knowledge transfer
  • Provide support for release deployment to developers and operational teams to ensure scope deliverance
  • Provide support for other suppliers / developers during the development phase in order to provide a suitable technical solution
  • Provide support for testing teams to prepare software testing phases to meet the quality criteria of delivered software

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in an IT team environment
  • Profound knowledge of methodologies and tools for analysis activities
  • Professional attitude, excellent communication skills
  • Experience in working with business requirements and detailing them into System level Functional Specifications
  • Analytical ability to ensure detail level articulation in analysing and specifying of functional details
  • Ability to communicate functional level details to solution developers – to support transition, translation and development
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one database management system (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP API’s, MQ, integration processes

Nice to have:

  • Basics of a programming language
  • About cloud native apps and solutions, CI/CD pipeline
  • IT infrastructure, security as design concept
  • Experience in large scale projects (core migrations, transformational projects)
