Job Description:

The Solution Designer - Cloud Applications (SAP Ariba) is a pivotal role responsible for designing comprehensive Source-to-Pay solutions using SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Ariba and integration frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems like SAP ECC/S/4HANA. Key responsibilities include leading design workshops, creating solution design documents, and overseeing SIT/UAT cycles. Strong stakeholder communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include SAP Ariba Certification and familiarity with Agile methodologies. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design end-to-end SAP Ariba-based cloud procurement solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Define solution architecture across Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Catalog Management
  • Lead solution design workshops and architecture discussions
  • Create high-level and detailed solution design documents (HLD/LLD)
  • Define integration architecture between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC / S/4HANA, SAP CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), Third-party systems (Tax, Logistics, CRM, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and security policies
  • Provide guidance on master data strategy, workflow design, approval matrices, and compliance controls
  • Support estimation, solution planning, and RFP responses
  • Oversee SIT/UAT cycles from a solution design perspective
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in SAP Ariba solution design and architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
  • Hands-on experience with SAP CIG integration framework
  • Experience designing integrations (IDOCs, APIs, Web Services)
  • Knowledge of master data governance (Suppliers, Materials, GL, Cost Centers)
  • Understanding of compliance, risk management, and procurement governance
  • Experience working in global, multi-country rollouts
  • Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields

Nice to have:

  • SAP Ariba Certification(s)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration
  • Familiarity with other cloud procurement platforms (Coupa, Ivalua, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture principles (SaaS, security, SSO, IAM)
