ELEKS is looking for a Solution Architect with a strong presales background in the United States. In this position, you will become part of our dedicated presales team. The role is strategically focused on presales activities, where you will contribute significantly to designing technical solutions and defining solution vision for the US region. During the presales process, you will take the lead on the technical components, delivering well-structured and comprehensive architectural designs. You will engage across multiple business domains, benefiting from diverse projects, quick context switching, and swift onboarding. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Elicit business and technical requirements from the business stakeholders
Define a solution architecture guided by the architectural drivers such as business and functional requirements, constraints, quality attributes
Provide ballpark estimates based on the estimation methodologies
Reengineer, document, review and analyze solution architectures using trade-off analysis methodology and other qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis
Support the Engagement team in pre-sales providing the technical expertise, architecture vision, and estimates
Drive the project bootstrap cooperating with the development team and passing the knowledge and architectural vision to them
Support long-term projects from the architectural perspective making and reviewing design decisions, documenting the architecture, communicating with the client’s technical peers, participating in creation of the PoC and prototypes and collaborating with the development teams
Choose among the technologies, reference architectures, and patterns and evaluate the candidate solutions based on the objective drivers, constraints, and criteria
Travel onsite to perform the client consulting services
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in software development (.Net / JavaScript / Java)
3+ years of experience in technical leadership and software architecture
Strong hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS preferred
Google Cloud is acceptable if open to reskilling)
Strong understanding of AI-related solutions, including the ability to design and position AI-enabled systems and integrations in presales engagements
Experience in sales and presales activities, including collaboration with sales teams (even limited experience is acceptable)
Experience with pricing and effort estimation, including contribution to solution costing and commercial proposals
In-depth understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, maintainability) and solution design documentation
Readiness to actively participate in presales engagements
Familiarity with the ISO 25010 and NFRs gathering and validation
Excellent English proficiency required for direct client communication
