Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Solution Architect to manage blueprint delivery, vendor governance and the implementation of robust remedies for platform failures. Using your deep integration expertise, you’ll manage complex data mapping between systems and middleware, as well as maintaining high quality architecture documentation.

Job Responsibility

  • Blueprint Delivery: Develop high-quality High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for DTS, EPOS, and other strategic workstreams
  • Vendor Governance: Conduct structured audits of vendor-submitted code and architecture
  • Data Integration Leadership: Orchestrate complex data mapping between legacy IBM iSeries (DB2/RPG) systems and modern API middleware
  • Systemic Remediation: Lead deep-dive investigations into recurring platform failures
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain high-quality architecture documentation in Confluence

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Solution Architecture with a clear focus on E-commerce platforms or API/Middleware ecosystems
  • Expert-level knowledge of Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), and PostgreSQL
  • Deep proficiency in API management patterns, Webhook integrations, and Event-Driven Architecture using Kafka or Azure Event Hubs
  • Demonstrable experience migrating legacy monolithic systems into containerised microservices architectures
  • Proficient in Visio or LucidChart for architectural modelling
  • disciplined in Confluence for documentation practices
  • AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect) certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
