You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.

Job Responsibility

Design and development of solutions as products that can evolve, meeting business requirements that align with modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling
Targeted design activities that apply an appropriate workload placement strategy and maximise the benefit of cloud capabilities
Best practice designs incorporating security principles that meet the Bank’s resiliency expectations
Solutions that appropriately balance risks and controls to deliver the agreed business and technology value
Adoption of standardised solutions where they fit
Fault finding and performance issues support to operational support teams, leveraging available tooling
Solution design impact assessment in terms of risk, capacity and cost impact
Development of the requisite architecture inputs required to comply with the banks governance processes

Requirements

Good experience in Information Technology, with at least few years as a developer / engineer, and at least few years as a designer / architect
Experience documenting, presenting and securing approvals for solution designs from various governance forums including Architecture Review Board, CTO, CSO
Hands-on experience of event streaming (Kafka, Flink), operational data stores (MongoDB) with the ability to drive proof of concepts and demos
Other technologies Snowflake including CoretxAI
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence and UI development
Working experience and knowledge of Data Platforms, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Security, Big Data, Kappa Architecture
Familiarity with Banking Domain preferably Corporate Banking and Payments
Familiarity with ISO 20022, schemes, Financial Events Hydration, Customer Account & Reference Data, Balance & Transaction Reporting

Nice to have

Working knowledge of AWS preferably on Data, with certifications
Familiarity with TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM)
Strong leadership skills, communication skills, influencing skills, stakeholder management skills, customer facing skills including architecture demand management
Ability to work independently, continuous learning, open to feedback, flexible and adaptable, strong team player and team builder, strong work ethics
