Job Responsibility:

  • Define and own the overall Mendix architecture for enterprise-grade applications
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Mendix solutions
  • Establish governance frameworks, coding standards, and best practices for Mendix development across teams
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments for Mendix applications
  • Lead solution design workshops, create high-level and detailed design documents, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
  • Integrate Mendix applications with ERP, CRM, legacy systems, APIs, and cloud platforms ensuring security, scalability, and performance
  • Drive innovation and modernization initiatives using Mendix capabilities for digital transformation
  • Define CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and ALM processes for Mendix projects
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and leads, ensuring adherence to architectural principles
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment strategies and environment management
  • Stay updated on Mendix roadmap, new features, and industry trends to recommend improvements

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years in Mendix development and architecture
  • Expertise in Mendix platform capabilities: microflows, nanoflows, domain modeling, security, and performance optimization
  • Mendix Expert Developer Certification (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns, and cloud-native design (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, and relational databases
  • familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
  • Experience in defining ALM processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for Mendix applications
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and deployment strategies
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to design reusable components, frameworks, and scalable architectures for large enterprise solutions
  • Experience in performance tuning, security hardening, and compliance standards
