Job Description:

Aqua Mechanical Services Pty Ltd t/a All Metal Structures specialises in the fabrication, installation, and modification of metal structures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Professional finishing works are required to complete these structures safely and to a high standard.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply plaster and render to wall systems built around steel frames, metal partitions, and mezzanine structures
  • Finish internal and external wall surfaces to protect metal framing and support project completion
  • Prepare and seal joints where metal components connect to wall systems for a smooth and durable finish
  • Repair and reinstate plastering following structural installations, upgrades, and maintenance to metal systems
  • Interpret plans and work with other trades to support timely project delivery
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards across all worksites

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ full-time experience as a Solid Plasterer or similar finishing trade
  • Proven ability to perform plastering works on steel-framed and metal structure projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and align finishing works with structural installation stages
  • Skilled in repairing and reinstating wall finishes following mechanical or structural modifications
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and safe operation of tools and equipment
  • High attention to detail with consistent, high-quality finishing outcomes
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with steel fabricators and other trades onsite
  • Current White Card and driver’s licence preferred
