Job Description:

This leading professional services and technology firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its expanding Glasgow-based team specialising in abuse, complex claims, and legacy work. The successful candidate will work on high-profile, sensitive cases within a supportive and well-established legal team under a flexible working model.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a diverse caseload of pre-litigated and litigated defender cases for insured and uninsured clients
review legal documents
advise on liability and quantum
draft court documents
conduct site visits
assist with business development initiatives such as articles and presentations

Requirements:

Between 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation
experience working on sensitive or complex claims
strong forensic and analytical skills
ability to prioritise under pressure
excellent written and verbal communication
previous experience appearing in the Sheriff Court and instructing in the Court of Session is desirable
familiarity with time recording systems is desirable
proactive team player capable of working collaboratively and independently

Nice to have:

Previous experience appearing in the Sheriff Court
