Solicitor - Professional Indemnity

• A mixed workload of professional negligence claims against a wide variety of professionals
• Responsibility for conducting both pre-action and litigated matters, as well as assisting more senior fee earners
• Responsibility for reviewing documents to analyse the facts and issues and identify next steps, as well as responsibility for running disclosure exercises and drafting witness statements
• A good understanding of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation
• The opportunity to liaise directly with experts and counsel

• 0-2 years PQE, with an interest in Professional Indemnity
• Ideally at least a seat in Professional Indemnity or a transferable area (such as defendant personal injury, commercial litigation, property litigation or contentious probate)
• Strong relationship and client-handling skills, commensurate with experience
• A good level of self-sufficiency, managing a caseload commensurate with experience
• An eye for detail and creativity in problem-solving
• Change-oriented, with a positive, flexible approach towards the implementation of new initiatives
• Team oriented and collegiate, with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team
• A willingness to work hard as part of a highly ambitious and driven team
