Good knowledge of landlord and tenant law
Basic understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation processes
Proficient IT skills

Job Responsibility

Undertake fee-earning work with supervision, contributing to departmental cases
Build technical expertise in managing defended and complex cases, particularly fast track and multi-track claims
Draft legal documents, ensuring compliance with court directions and orders
Progress towards independently managing smaller matters while assisting on larger cases
Liaise with clients, defendants, courts, solicitors, and managing agents
Keep clients informed on case progress
Issue possession claims via Possession Claims Online
Prepare paper applications for court (manual possession, accelerated, and warrant applications)
Draft notices seeking possession
Prepare instructions for advocates and counsel
