Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer / Experienced Paralegal - Complex Injury - Periodical Payments Order (PPO) Team

• Managing a portfolio of Periodical Payments Order (PPO) cases under the supervision of a partner
• Assisting that partner in handling his complex and high value claims
• Ensuring the efficient recalculation and administration of the payments due to Claimants
• Dealing with the quantification and collection of any statutory funding repayments due to insurers
• Liaising directly with Claimants or their deputies/other representatives on all matters involving those payments and repayments
• Liaising directly with insurers on those matters
• Collating management information on the cases as needed
• Assisting the partner on traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury cases to ensure these are handled efficiently and proactively
• Adherence to internal and client SLAs, KPIs and protocols
• Achievement of agreed financial targets
• Prompt and accurate provision of MI
• Applying appropriate and current technical expertise and case law
• Maintaining and developing technical knowledge through attendance at training sessions and reading appropriate publications

• Previous experience of working or assisting on Personal Injury claims
• Organised and efficient with good time management and diary management skills
• High level of personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures
• Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team
• Excellent relationship and client handling skills with an ability to deal confidently and professionally with Claimants/their representatives and clients on a daily basis
