Job Description:

This is your chance to kick-start a legal career with hands-on experience from day one. You’ll be part of a supportive, ambitious team where you can learn from experienced lawyers, build your confidence, and develop the skills you need to qualify as a Solicitor — all while earning a salary and avoiding university debt. Over six years, you’ll progress through a structured pathway including: Level 4 Paralegal Qualification, LLB Law Degree, Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE), Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting casework – helping prepare files, draft documents, carry out legal research, and manage case materials
  • Experiencing client work first-hand – attending meetings and hearings, taking notes, and learning how lawyers build strong client relationships
  • Balancing study and practice – applying what you learn academically to live matters, with support from supervisors and mentors
  • Collaborating across departments – working with colleagues on projects, initiatives, and client work
  • Developing your professional toolkit – improving communication, organisation, legal technology skills, and problem solving

Requirements:

  • Predicted BBB at A-Level (or equivalent). Applications with extenuating circumstances will be considered
  • Applicants must not already hold a degree
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

  • Help coordinate assessment centres, including preparation, welcoming candidates and supporting the smooth running of the day
  • Support recruitment campaigns for trainee solicitors, apprentices and pupillage programmes
  • Assist with onboarding new colleagues, including pre-employment checks, right-to-work checks and setting up access to systems
  • Act as a first point of contact for early talent enquiries, helping to manage and respond to inbox queries from candidates and colleagues
  • Support relationships with schools, colleges and universities, including careers events and fairs
  • Work with hiring managers and the wider People team to support recruitment activity
  • Help with general administration, project work and improvements to recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Ensure all activity is carried out professionally, inclusively and in line with GDPR and employment law
