Job Description

Our new Construction department is seeking a Solicitor with minimum three years post-qualification experience in construction law. BRM has an extensive portfolio of developer clients and have provided construction advice under the umbrella of Litigation, Real Estate and Commercial departments. With a growing volume of instructions in this area, we’re excited to create a stand-alone Construction department to be driven by ambitious lawyers and marketed beyond our existing developer client base.

Job Responsibility

  • Undertaking client facing construction workload
  • Driving business development, marketing and expansion

Requirements

  • More than three years post-qualification experience in Construction law
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team-oriented, reliable and supportive of others
  • Able to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Logical problem solver with a consistent initiative driven approach
  • Proactive and eager to learn new skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to support the wider business as needed

Nice to have

  • Both contentious and non-contentious experience
  • Ambition to grow the new department and expand the team
