Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of soldering experience
  • Successful completion of the following training programs (which are provided): ESD Certification, Component Identification Training, Layout Training, Right-To-Know Training, Moisture Sensitive Devices, IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 Sypris training, Component/PWB Handling, Move Safe Product, Part Installation, Operator Self Inspection
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Performs assessment of product quality
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate barcode scanning equipment
  • Standing for extended periods of time may be required
  • Vision corrected to 20/20
  • Infrequent lifting and moving of material over 25 pounds and up to 60 pounds
  • occasional lifting and moving of drums in excess of 100 pounds
  • Ability to obtain a US Government granted security clearance, if necessary
