Job Description:

Responsible for the on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of solar field equipment at EDPR NA's operating solar-energy generation site. This role involves completing safety documentation, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Job Responsibility:

On-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of solar field equipment
Complete Lock out Tag out (LOTO) and Tail Board meetings
Perform inspections of equipment, tools, and facility
Ensure proper operation of solar field equipment including inverters, tracker systems, transformers
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
Perform mechanical and electrical component repair and replacement
Comply with environmental health and safety programs
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform data collection and prepare reports
Work with Remote Operations Control Center
Perform QA/QC inspections
Document work using computer-based service reporting procedures
Supervise contractors on site

Requirements:

1+ years of college or technical school education, or equivalent combination of training and experience
2-5 years relevant experience in solar energy or related industry
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, SQL Server software, facility management and reporting systems
Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment
Experience with power plant operations and maintenance, solar plant operations
Ability to operate motor vehicle and possession of valid driver's license
Ability to work around low- and medium-voltage equipment
Ability to travel occasionally to other operational sites within US
Ability to work overtime on holidays and weekends and work on short notice
Ability to respond to site emergencies 24/7
Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, bending for 75% of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions 25% of time
