Job Description:

Morson Edge is recruiting an experienced Solar PV Installation Supervisor to lead nationwide commercial and industrial solar projects. This is a permanent, Monday–Thursday position involving regular UK travel and overnight stays (typically four nights per week).

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and supervise Solar PV installation teams on site
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with compliance standards
  • Deliver toolbox talks and manage RAMS and CPP documentation
  • Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal Operations teams
  • Carry out QA inspections, snagging, and final sign-off

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supervising commercial Solar PV installations
  • Strong leadership skills with hands-on installation background
  • Knowledge of flat, pitched, and trapezoidal steel roof systems
  • Confident working at height with a strong safety record
  • Valid CSCS Card – mandatory
  • IPAF certification – mandatory
  • Working at Height, Harness, Manual Handling, and Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence – mandatory
  • Own vehicle for travel to head office / initial site access – mandatory

  • Work with local inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations as assigned
  • Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to photovoltaic installations and enforce safety practices and standards
  • Additional duties assigned as needed
  • 5% travel required
