Job Responsibility:

  • To ensure a high level of software quality by using the adapted methods, processes and strategies for handling coordination of software testing, writing test description and executing test cases referring to product/software requirements
  • Functional testing (manual and automated), CAN/LIN communication testing, Diagnostic testing and explorative testing of Software for Brose mechatronics products like Cooling Fan Module / Vehicular Control Unit / Motor Control Unit using applicable Software and Hardware Tools after preparing the Wiring Harness and Hardware setup based on project requirement
  • Writing and adapting test cases based on software requirements for the product to ensure the test coverage of the given requirements
  • Planning test execution for projects assigned in team to meet the planned timeline and effort
  • Regular update of test execution progress including any foreseen delays to meet the planned timeline and escalation if no tasks are planned
  • Participate in project meetings and discuss the Test summary review findings with development Team
  • Review of Test cases with reference to the System requirements
  • Regular update of working hours in Timesheet / Time-booking software
  • Support the training of new team members and other Engineers on planned topics
  • Automation of test cases
  • Creation of generic automated Test case design in automation tool

Requirements:

  • Technical degree with a duration of upto 4 year, specializing in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer Science Engineering
  • Work Experience - 3-4 years
  • Experience of Electronics system/functional/Blackbox testing
  • GASQ/ISTQB certified tester or Equivalent knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of typical automotive software tools like Vector CANoe/CANape & Hardware Tools (DSO, DMM, Function Generator)
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits
  • Minimum 3-year experience in the Automotive domain
  • Strong Communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience of window regulator or liftgate electronics system testing is an advantage
  • Experience in using test description & requirement tools like Code beamer is an advantage
  • Experience in CAPL/Python programming is an advantage
  • Experience in automation is an added advantage
