Job Description:

We are looking for detail-oriented Software Testers to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite full-time role. The ideal candidates will be responsible for testing applications, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute manual and functional testing of applications and systems
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools
  • Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and testing needs
  • Perform regression, integration, and system testing
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure product quality before release
  • Participate in test reviews and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Knowledge of manual testing methodologies and QA processes
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar systems
  • Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have:

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
