Job Description

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated). Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Develop and maintain automated test s using Playwright for web applications. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality standards. Validate fixes and perform re-testing of resolved issues. Provide clear and concise test reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in software testing, including automation with Playwright
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework
  • Familiarity with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus
  • Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to have

Familiarity with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
