Job Description

Internship - Software tester / Stage - Testeur logiciel. This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. Under the responsibility of a senior engineer, the trainee will conduct tests, prepare configurations, reproduce client issues, and automate tests. This internship is a real opportunity to learn more about networking, software and network testing, the use of Linux and its tools as well as the software development cycle. It is also an opportunity to work in a professional setting with cutting edge tools and equipment.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct software and networking tests on new products and new functionalities
  • Prepare and configure the products to be tested
  • Prepare and configure the networks used during the tests
  • Reproduce certain problems reported by our clients
  • Automate/script in python new feature tests
  • Develop software tools on Linux and thereby contribute in speeding up the laboratory tests on the wireless products

Requirements

  • 1st Year of University completed-typically a technical degree specialization
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and technologies
  • Interest in IP and WiFi wireless networks

Nice to have

  • Interest in Linux/UNIX
  • Interest in Scripting (BASH/Python)
  • Experience in configuring and installing network equipment and software such as: routers, web servers, RADIUS servers, etc.
