Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer with around 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web/desktop/mobile applications through structured testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

Job Responsibility

  • Understand product requirements and design test plans and test cases accordingly
  • Perform manual and automated testing of web applications
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
  • Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and performance testing
  • Raise and track bugs in tools like JIRA
  • Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Appium
  • Proficient in scripting languages like JavaScript or Python
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
