Job Description

The successful Territory Sales Manager will have a strong background in technical sales within the CAE, CFD and CAM Engineering sector and will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and driving profitable sales for our targeted business segments.

Job Responsibility

  • Conducting all sales and support activities in the assigned territory and accounts
  • Identifying sales prospects and developing a sales strategy for each Sales Opportunity
  • Preparing product/pricing proposals, working with prospects, and negotiating directly with customers to close sales
  • Meeting quarterly and annual sales goals as measured through bookings, revenue and net income
  • Reporting regularly (verbal and written) on activities, results and forecasting from within the territory
  • Helping to develop and assist with the development of promotional material including sales literature, video content and related marketing materials as it relates to Software, Engineering Services and/or Manufactured Parts Business Units
  • Assisting with payments and accounts receivables from the customer base within the region
  • Interacting with management, other internal CN departments, sales staff, and outside vendors as needed to achieve objectives as a key member of the CN sales management team
  • Various other sales related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering or related technical field (a Master of Science or 5-year degree is preferred)
  • At least three years of relevant sales or sales support experience for CAE, CFD and/or CAM products
  • A strong background or understanding of technical sales and/or services for the turbomachinery industry is desirable
  • Direct exposure to the design and manufacturing of pumps, compressors, turbines, or gas turbine engines or parts is highly desirable
  • A team player with a consistently positive outlook
  • Professionalism consistent with the Concepts NREC corporate culture of treating others with respect
  • A strong customer (both internal and external) focus and consistent follow through on commitments
  • Strong time management skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Creativity combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with a working familiarity of sales automation tools
  • A broad-based technical foundation with a solid basis in business fundamentals
  • An energetic, proactive, career-oriented approach with the desire, and ability, to advance within Concepts NREC
  • 30% travel visiting customers and as needed visits to the office will be required
  • Business-proof English skills (verbal/written) are a must, other European languages a plus
  • Candidates must have legal authorization to work in an EU member state or the UK without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
