Job Description:

As a Software Technologist I, you are a member of a support team within the EarthSoft Support Group with minimal experience. You learn your team’s assigned products and assist in providing exceptional technical support to customers using those products. Your team’s success is measured in overall client satisfaction with, and inherent value of, those products. Your individual success is as a part of the team; individual team members are not successful if the team fails to meet its goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Actively participate in team communication/knowledge sharing during team meetings
  • Assist your team in providing product technical support
  • Assist with the creation of thorough ticket summaries, user stories, and bugs
  • Attend and observe client meetings
  • Escalate tickets to other team members per standard operating procedures
  • Review and contribute to forum posts (to be posted by other team members)
  • Develop knowledge in features and functionality of one or more of your team’s EQuIS products
  • Learn the environmental data industry and EarthSoft’s clients
  • Learn EarthSoft’s product development lifecycle process
  • Coordinate and collaborate amongst various EarthSoft departments and groups

  • Setup of controls, computer systems and cabling for tool testing and troubleshooting operations
