Software Support Engineer

• Provide first and second-level technical support to OEMs and end-users
• Work closely with customers on programming questions and application issues
• Coordinate with technical support colleagues to ensure all support requests are accurately and efficiently resolved
• Work closely with the development and product management teams to report and resolve product issues, software bugs, and usability issues

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable technical degree and experience
• A minimum of two years of work experience in the industry
• Knowledge of industrial automation and control technologies, Fieldbus, and IIoT
• Experience with programming PLC, DCS, PAC, or similar industrial control systems with IEC 61131-3 is a plus
• Great troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational skills and ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize
• Willing to occasionally travel to customer sites, within the continental US and Canada

Experience with programming PLC, DCS, PAC, or similar industrial control systems with IEC 61131-3 is a plus
