  • Support and participate in ASA(ALT)'s process to negotiate Defense Appropriations Bill conference issues

  • Prepare the CPE for testimony before Congress
  • Develop strategies for improving and maintaining strong relationships with Congress
  • Serve as the organization's strategist on Congressional affairs, establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with Members of Congress and Professional Staff Members of the four primary defense subcommittees
