At Bentley Systems, our software forms the digital backbone for the world's most critical infrastructure projects. The integrity of that backbone rests on the quality of our products, and we are looking for a professional who shares that commitment. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Software Quality Analyst to join our industry-leading ProjectWise team. In this role, you will hold a pivotal position, responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and stability of software used to design and manage everything from nuclear power plants to international airports. This is an opportunity to move beyond standard testing. You will be a key contributor to the development lifecycle, acting as a crucial advocate for quality and ensuring that our solutions meet the rigorous demands of the engineers who rely on them. If you are a QA professional driven by a sense of ownership and a desire to work on complex, high-impact products, we encourage you to apply.

  • Meticulous Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects with a high level of detail, providing clear and actionable information to enable efficient resolution by the development team
  • Ensure Product Stability: Perform rigorous manual testing, including regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing, to validate new features and safeguard existing functionality
  • Champion Quality Best Practices: Act as a key advocate for quality assurance principles throughout the software development lifecycle, actively contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze and Report on Quality: Evaluate test results, generate insightful reports on software quality metrics, and effectively communicate findings to project stakeholders
  • Manage Complex Test Environments: Take ownership of setting up and managing intricate test environments, ensuring they are fully aligned with project requirements and testing objectives
  • Contribute to Automation Excellence: Actively participate in shaping the automated testing strategy by identifying key areas for automation, thereby enhancing test coverage, reliability, and overall efficiency

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • A strong, demonstrable understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle
  • A profound sense of ownership for product quality, with a proactive approach to identifying issues early and driving them to resolution
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • The ability to operate effectively in situations with ambiguity, including the creation of test cases and plans when requirements are incomplete
  • Foundational technical knowledge of test environment setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
