Job Description:

Software QA Engineer role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise focusing on HPE Hybrid Cloud and next-generation cloud platform Green Lake. The position involves designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs for software enhancements and new products.

Job Responsibility:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products
Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools
Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Typically 4-6 years experience
Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, developing test strategy, test plans and test execution
Proficiency in programming in Python
Strong test automation background to enhance a test automation framework
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Knowledge of tools and processes for functional, regression, scale testing
Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use Jira, Confluence, and related software
Knowledge of Agile methodology and hands-on participation in Scrum
Ability to collaborate effectively across a geographically distributed cross-functional team
Storage Domain knowledge – Block/File/Object
Networking concepts
Docker, Containerization, Kubernetes
CI/CD, Git/GitLab, Jenkins
Linux/VM environments
