Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 3 to support the integration and operation of software within high-performance computing (HPC) environments. This role focuses on maintaining system performance and reliability while ensuring mission-critical applications run effectively across complex, heterogeneous environments. The ideal candidate will lead software integration efforts across Linux, UNIX, and Windows systems, supporting large-scale HPC operations and ensuring seamless functionality across enterprise infrastructure.
Job Responsibility
Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, and maintain COTS and GOTS software in heterogeneous environments
Support HPC systems and associated applications to ensure consistent operational performance
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues across Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms
Compile and optimize software for performance and compatibility in production environments
Support multi-threaded and parallel processing applications
Work with HPC scheduling and resource management software
Utilize scripting and programming languages for automation and system functionality
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless software integration across platforms
Maintain software configurations using configuration management tools
Apply structured troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose and resolve system issues

U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required
Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
Random drug testing in accordance with Executive Order 12564 must be passed
Security background investigation and polygraph must be successfully completed
Bachelor's degree in a related field or five (5) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree
Minimum 8 years of experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting software in heterogeneous environments
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent)
Experience with Linux shell scripting and programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
