We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the design, development and enhancement of Restful APIs
Focus on automating all aspects of the RedHat Linux, Windows & Virtualization platforms
Lead the Engineering aspects of developing templates and playbooks on Ansible Automation Platform
Define, create & manage Ansible roles
Implement secrets management for applications using standard available tools
Increase speed of provisioning, availability, and performance
Work with Agile Teams, Architects, and Product Owners to identify and implement the most optimal solutions
Ensure the automation solutions meet compliance & other audit requirements
Lead the migration of various technology stacks from one platform to another
Provide technical advice to team members and contribute to upskilling of the team
Innovate new solutions and ensure the products use latest technology stacks

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field
Person should have more than 15+ years of experience
5 to 8 years of hands-on development experience, Subject Matter Expert (SME) in development of Ansible playbooks and templates on Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
Deep understanding of how to leverage AAP capabilities for developing Automation for large/Enterprise server estate
Knowledge and understanding of Linux or Windows Operating System and its related modules
Proficient in Python language with exposure to Python or Java Springboot APIs
Advanced skills in developing and testing automation using Ansible Playbooks and Jenkins via API calls
Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years of work experience
Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and code management in a large organization using GitHub
Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work with globally distributed teams and stakeholders
Experience working with and managing Jenkins pipelines for code testing and continuous deployment
Experience in developing scripts in PowerShell or bash with some level of understanding of Server Operating Systems
