Software Engineering Specialist

The role is accountable for ensuring that our technical deliveries realise Business Value. The role is accountable for multiple complex small to medium sized design deliveries or a single large technical design delivery. The roleholder will coach and mentor a multi-discipline team. The role ensures that the scope of delivery is understood, that the technical solution meets the business need and that plans are comprehensive and are achieved. The working domain for the role holder is in the IT & Cloud Monitoring space; including designing solutions for the Fixed Networks and Network Cloud programme; where technical design and delivery of solutions on Monitoring and Assurance toolsets needs to be managed realising Business Value and Outcomes. The role holder will be responsible for delivering new efficient solutions like closed loop auto-remediation and AI capabilities on DC and Cloud infrastructure hosted on Openstack or similar VIM, with leaf & spine network and a WAN underlay; consuming events and rich telemetry from applications, SDN and infrastructure alike by following Open API, TMF Standards and ODA architecture.
