Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a visionary and technically strong Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing application development team focused on AI innovation in branch banking. This role will be instrumental in designing and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance customer experience, streamline authentication processes, and empower branch employees with intelligent tools.

Job Responsibility:

Provide Team Leadership & Development
Provide AI Strategy & Execution
Define and drive the AI innovation roadmap for branch banking
Oversee development of customer-facing AI capabilities
Lead initiatives like enhanced customer and employee authentication using AI
Perform Application Ownership
Own the full lifecycle of AI-enabled applications
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product managers, data scientists, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders
Technology Leadership
Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends in banking

Requirements:

6+ years of Software Engineering experience
6+ years of financial services experience
3+ years of management or leadership experience
3+ years leading application development teams
3+ years of experience mentoring and quality checking junior application developers
3+ years cloud experience
1+ years of experience leading AI-centric projects or programs at a financial services institution

Nice to have:

2+ years banking operations technology experience, preferably branch operations
3+ years of technology transformation / modernization leadership experience
