Software Engineering Manager

You will also delegate daily tasks and large assignments to multiple team members, then manage to completion, ensuring that the right results are achieved. As the Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled software developers on complex projects drawn from conceptual design and research through successful product launch and post-launch support. Within the product development environment, you will lead the planning, prototyping, development, deployment, and documentation of such events. This position requires coordination and collaboration of product and project managers’ activities within a matrixed and Agile product development environment. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing consistent project planning, development plans, risk analysis, and design rigor throughout all projects. Accountabilities include establishing, developing, and maintaining the software development team’s technical competencies by providing mentoring, training, evaluation, recruitment, and alignment with the company’s objectives and goals.
