Job Description:

Software Engineering Manager role at Wells Fargo focusing on Capital Markets technology solutions, managing teams, and delivering innovative solutions using Java and Python technologies

Job Responsibility:

Manage, coach, and develop a team of individual contributor engineer roles
Ensure adherence to Banking Platform Architecture and meeting non-functional requirements
Engage with architects to incorporate technical strategies
Function as technical representative during cross-team collaborative efforts
Identify and recommend opportunities for driving resolution of technology roadblocks
Act as escalation partner for scrum masters and teams
Build engineering skills side-by-side in codebase
Interpret, develop security, stability, and scalability within technology functions
Collaborate with Product Managers/Product Owners
Interact with third party vendors and technology service providers
Manage allocation of people and financial resources
Hire, mentor and guide talent development

Requirements:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience
2+ years of Leadership experience
17+ years of total experience
Experience in Market Conduct and Surveillance - Capital markets, Investment banking domain
Design, develop and maintain high performance Java / Python based applications
Well Versed with Data Engineering concepts including Data Lineage, Data Controls, ETL tools and Data Governance processes
Should have built an advanced reporting system for enterprise requirements
Experience on Market and Trade Surveillance and different regulatory compliance requirements
