Job Description:

This position involves leading technical development and operations for insight products at IKEA, supporting their digital transformation journey. The role entails a mix of hands-on contributions and leadership responsibilities, requiring expertise in software development, data pipelines, and cloud technologies. The Software Engineering Leader will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, technical experts, and product owners to deliver high-quality and efficient solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Lead & influence the technical roadmaps for digital insight products
be responsible for the product architecture
develop and operate technical solutions hands-on
steer technical excellence and compliance with digital standards
coach and enable team members
ensure product component reusability and contribute to tech communities
collaborate with product owners, data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and architects.

Requirements:

Proven stakeholder management experience working in complex teams
experience building ETL pipelines, data modelling and visualisation
expertise in Python, Spark and Azure Cloud
ability to develop data pipelines and optimise current flows
experience building reports in dashboard solutions like Power BI or via web interfaces
experience with cloud-based solutions
skills in automation and monitoring using tools like Github Actions, Terraform, NewRelic or Splunk
comfortable working in an agile environment.

Nice to have:

Experience working with cloud-based solutions
skills in dashboard solutions like Power BI
knowledge about automation and monitoring tools
familiarity with agile work environments.
