Job Description:

Randstad has recently partnered with a global organisation, with a positive reputation across their clientele. Your future employers emphasize equally on stability and security as much as transformation and modernization of technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architectural Stewardship: Define and evolve the technical roadmap for our wealth products, moving away from legacy monoliths toward event-driven, cloud-native architectures.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business goals (AUM growth, client retention, advisor efficiency) into actionable engineering milestones.
  • Modernization & Transformation: Lead the transition to modern tech stacks, focusing on high-availability systems, API-first integrations, and data integrity.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Liaison: Ensure all engineering outputs meet stringent financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II, SEC/FINRA requirements) by embedding security and auditability into the SDLC.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the "technical glue" between front-office advisor tools, back-office clearing systems, third-party fintech integrations and C-level executives
  • Mentorship & Culture: Foster an engineering culture of excellence, high-quality code reviews, and continuous learning, specifically within the context of complex financial logic.

Requirements:

  • Software Engineering Roots: A proven track record as a Senior, Lead or Staff Engineer with over 10 years of experience. You must be able to collaborate with developers and understand the nuances of system design and architecture.
  • Wealth Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of wealth management workflows, including portfolio management, rebalancing, trade execution, market data feeds, and client reporting.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to look beyond the next sprint and understand how technical debt or architectural choices impact the firm's long-term competitive edge.
  • Modern Tech Stack Proficiency: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices architectures, and modern data streaming (e.g., Kafka).
  • Regulatory Fluency: Comfort navigating the intersection of fast paced deployments and compliance assurance. You understand that in Wealth, "done" means "secure and auditable."
