As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work directly with talented engineers of all levels within the Digital Health Technology organization. With guidance from experienced engineers and technical leaders, you will assist in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software solutions that support ResMed’s connected care platforms. You will also contribute to testing, validation, configuration, creation of operational metrics, and deployment of software applications. The right candidate for this internship is expected to have foundational knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development lifecycle and will rely on mentorship, instructions, and established guidelines to perform job functions successfully.

Requirements:
Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025
Software development academic studies leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Bioengineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Foundational knowledge of Java
Familiarity with basic software development concepts and tools
Nice to have:
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong experience demonstrated through academic projects, research, or software engineering internships
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills and a growth-oriented mindset
Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS/SQS
Familiarity with observability tools and metrics (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
Experience using AI tools to assist with routine development tasks
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
